Zesty Dill Pickle Dip Recipe

  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: Approximately 2.5 cups 1x

Description

This Zesty Dill Pickle Dip is an explosion of tangy, creamy, and slightly spicy flavors that will have everyone reaching for another scoop. It’s unbelievably easy to whip up, making it perfect for last-minute gatherings or just a delicious treat for yourself.

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 cup dill pickles, finely chopped
2 tbsp dill pickle juice
2 tbsp spicy jalapeños, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
Potato chips or pretzels for serving

Instructions

Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise in a bowl until smooth.
Mix in pickle juice and garlic powder.
Gently stir in chopped pickles, jalapeos, dill, and red pepper flakes.
Chill for an hour before serving with chips or pretzels.

Notes

Soften, Don’t Melt: For the creamiest texture, allow your cream cheese to come to room temperature naturally. If microwaved, do it in very short bursts.

Finely Chopped is Best: Take your time chopping the pickles and jalapeños finely. This ensures they distribute evenly and don’t overwhelm any single bite.

Flavor Development: The chilling period is essential. It not only thickens the dip but allows all those wonderful pickle, dill, and jalapeño flavors to truly meld and deepen. Don’t skip it!

Adjust the Spice: Taste as you go and adjust the amount of jalapeños and red pepper flakes to suit your heat preference. You can always add more, but you can’t take it away.
