Sweet and Savory Peach Burrata Flatbread

  • Total Time: Approximately 25-35 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Description

This Sweet and Savory Peach Burrata Flatbread is an absolute delight, perfect for a light lunch, a sophisticated appetizer, or even a fun weeknight dinner that feels a little special. It’s a masterpiece of textures and tastes, featuring luscious burrata, juicy peaches, and a delightful balsamic drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale

2 Naan Flatbreads
2 tbsp minced garlic in oil
2 tbsp pesto
810 peach slices
5 pieces Beef Bresaola
1 ball (8oz) burrata cheese, split between naan
2 tbsp fresh basil
drizzle of hot honey

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Brush a layer of minced garlic onto both naan flatbreads.
3. Place the seasoned naans on the middle rack of the preheated oven for 4 minutes.
4. While the naans are in the oven, briefly grill your peach slices on a grill pan for 2 minutes per side.
5. Carefully remove the naans from the oven. Spread pesto evenly over each naan, then top with the grilled peaches, burrata cheese, and beef bresaola, dividing them between the two flatbreads.
6. Return the topped flatbreads to the middle oven rack for another 3-4 minutes.
7. Transfer the flatbreads to a baking sheet and continue baking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
8. Once removed from the oven, finish by sprinkling fresh basil over the top and drizzling with hot honey.
9. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Using peaches that are ripe but still firm will prevent them from becoming mushy during baking.

Slicing the peaches thinly and evenly ensures they cook at the same rate.

If making your own glaze, let it simmer uncovered until it coats the back of a spoon. Be careful not to let it get too thick, as it will continue to thicken as it cools.

Add the fresh basil just before serving to preserve its vibrant color and aroma.
