  • Total Time: 6 hours - overnight
  • Yield: 2-3 servings 1x

Description

Wake up to a delightful treat with these Strawberries and Cream Overnight Oats, a perfect blend of creamy goodness and fresh fruit that feels like a special breakfast but is ready in minutes. This recipe transforms simple ingredients into an irresistible, fuss-free morning meal that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup strawberry Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons chia seeds
3/4 cup diced strawberries (fresh or frozen)

Instructions

Combine the old-fashioned oats, milk, strawberry Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and diced strawberries in a jar.

Refrigerate overnight, or for a minimum of two hours, until thickened.

Add a little water if the mixture is too thick.

Notes

For the creamiest result, ensure you stir the mixture very well to combine all ingredients, especially the chia seeds, preventing clumping.

If you prefer your strawberries to be softer and more integrated, you can gently mash them with a fork before adding them to the oat mixture.

Taste the mixture before chilling and adjust the maple syrup to your personal preference. Remember that fruits can vary in sweetness, so a little taste-test goes a long way.

If your oats are too thick in the morning, simply stir in a tablespoon or two of milk until you reach your desired creamy consistency. It’s always easier to thin them out than to thicken them up.
