Mini Quiche Bites Recipe

Mini Quiche Bites Recipe

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 24 mini quiches 1x

Description

These delightful mini quiche bites are the perfect bite-sized appetizer, featuring a buttery crust and three delicious savory flavor combinations.

Ingredients

Scale

3 pie crust rounds
3 eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
cooking spray
1/2 cup cooked spinach (excess water removed, coarsely chopped)
1/4 cup roasted red bell peppers (finely chopped)
3 tablespoons feta cheese (crumbled)
1 teaspoon fresh dill (minced)
1/4 cup diced turkey ham
1/3 cup Swiss cheese (shredded)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley (minced)
1/4 cup cooked and crumbled beef bacon
1/3 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
2 tablespoons green onions (sliced)

Instructions

1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a 24-cup mini muffin tin with cooking spray.

2. Lay out the pie crusts and use a 3-inch cookie cutter to cut 24 circles.

3. Place each pie crust circle into the muffin tin cups.

4. Whisk the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.

5. In 8 of the cups, combine spinach, roasted peppers, feta, and dill.

6. In another 8 cups, combine turkey ham, cheese, and parsley.

7. In the final 8 cups, combine beef bacon, cheese, and green onions.

8. Fill each cup about 3/4 full with the egg mixture.

9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the tops are browned. Remove from pan with a spatula and serve warm.

Notes

Even Distribution: Use a small spoon or a cookie scoop to divide the egg mixture so that each mini quiche cooks at the same rate.

Pan Preparation: Don’t skip the cooking spray. Even with pastry dough, the eggs can adhere to the sides of the muffin tin, so a light coating is essential for an easy release.

Temperature Matters: Serve these warm, as the pastry is at its crispest and the custard is at its most delicate when freshly baked.
