blue tinted sugar
Instructions
1. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in the microwave, stirring frequently, until smooth. Alternatively, use a double boiler on the stovetop.
2. Dip the bottom 2/3 of each strawberry into the melted chocolate, leaving a red stripe at the top.
3. Dip just the tip of each berry into the blue sugar.
4. Place dipped strawberries on a baking sheet lined with wax or parchment paper.
5. Refrigerate uncovered to speed up setting. Store refrigerated, uncovered.
Notes
Dry Strawberries Thoroughly: Make sure the strawberries are completely dry before dipping, as any moisture will prevent the chocolate from adhering correctly.
Melt Chocolate Slowly: Microwave the chocolate in short intervals, stirring frequently, to prevent burning.
Use Fresh Strawberries: Fresh, ripe strawberries are key to the best flavor.
Line the Baking Sheet: Use parchment paper to prevent the chocolate-covered strawberries from sticking to the baking sheet.
Chill Properly: Allow the chocolate to set completely in the refrigerator for the best results.
