Description
Crispy, oven-baked wings tossed in a rich, buttery garlic sauce and finished with a sharp dusting of fresh Parmesan cheese for the ultimate treat.
Ingredients
1–1/2 lbs – Chicken Wings
4 Cloves – Garlic
1/4 Cup – Parmesan Cheese
1/4 Cup – Butter
1 Tbsp – Fresh Parsley
1/2 tsp – Garlic Powder
1 tsp – Black Pepper
2 tsps – Kosher Salt
1/2 tsp – Paprika
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Season chicken wings with garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Arrange wings on a baking rack and bake for 35 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
3. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add garlic and cook for 3 minutes.
4. Stir in parsley and cook for another 2 minutes.
5. Drizzle the garlic butter mixture over the wings. Toss to coat, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
Notes
Do not skip the baking rack. If you place the wings directly on a baking sheet, the bottom side will sit in the rendered fat and become soggy rather than crispy.
Watch your garlic closely while it sautés. It can go from golden to burnt in a matter of seconds, and burnt garlic will add a bitter flavor to your finished sauce.
Toss the wings quickly. The butter and parmesan coating sets best when the wings are still quite hot, so have your serving platter ready to go before you add the sauce.
