Description
These chewy and colorful blondies are packed with sweet white chocolate and crunchy, festive sprinkles. They’re a delightful treat to share at any celebration, with a fun texture and a burst of flavor in every bite.
Ingredients
½ cup (113g) unsalted butter
2 cups (400g) packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups (248g) all purpose flour
2 cups red white, and blue M&Ms
½ cup patriotic sprinkles
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a 9×13 pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
In a mixer, combine butter and brown sugar until crumbly. Mix in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Add salt, baking powder, and then flour. Stir in M&Ms and sprinkles.
Spread the mixture in the prepared pan. The dough will be wet, so spray your hands with cooking spray to smooth it into an even layer. Add extra M&Ms on top for decoration.
Bake for 22-25 minutes, until golden. It’s better to underbake slightly.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for better incorporation and a more consistent batter.
Don’t overmix the batter, as this can lead to tough blondies.
Ensure your baking powder is fresh for the best rise.
Let the blondies cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
Store cooled blondies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
