Ingredients
14.3 ounces package of Oreo cookies, finely crushed (about 3 cups crushed Oreos)
6 Tablespoon butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
¼ cup sugar
3 cups +2 tablespoons cold milk, divided
12 ounces Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed and divided
(2) 3.4 ounces packages vanilla instant pudding
½ cup peanut butter
Instructions
Reserve cup of crushed Oreos.
Combine the rest with melted butter, and press into a 9×13″ pan.
In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and 2 tablespoons milk.
Mix in 1 cups of whipped topping.
Spread over the crust and refrigerate.
In another bowl, whisk vanilla pudding with the remaining milk for 2 minutes.
Add peanut butter, and mix.
Spread this over the cream cheese layer.
Let stand briefly to thicken.
Top with the rest of the whipped topping and the reserved cookie crumbs.
Chill in the fridge for about 4 hours, until firm.
Notes
Use room-temperature cream cheese to ensure a smooth, creamy filling layer.
Make sure you’ve fully crushed the sandwich cookies for the base, this provides a nice, even foundation.
Chill the dessert for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, for the best results. This allows the layers to set properly, ensuring each bite is perfect.
Feel free to get creative with the garnishes! A sprinkle of chocolate shavings or a drizzle of peanut butter would be great.
