Description
Soft, chewy holiday cookies with white and semisweet chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles, slightly crisp edges, tender centers, dusted with powdered sugar.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Holiday sprinkles (optional)
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt; gradually mix in.
Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles; reserve some for topping.
Scoop dough, press extra chips and sprinkles on top.
Bake 10–12 mins until edges golden, centers soft.
Cool 5 mins on sheets, transfer to rack.
Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
Notes
Use room-temp butter for smooth cream.
Chill dough 30 mins before baking.
Measure flour accurately.
Avoid overmixing after flour addition.
Store airtight up to 1 week.
