Ingredients
1 (14 oz) package turkey smoked sausage, sliced ¼-inch thick
8 ounces pasta (fettuccine, penne, or rigatoni)
2 cups heavy cream
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté sliced sausage for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned.
Add heavy cream and Cajun seasoning to the skillet; bring mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer gently for 3-4 minutes or until the sauce starts to thicken.
Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, coating evenly.
Serve immediately, optionally garnished with fresh parsley or extra Parmesan.
