Featuring succulent sautéed shrimp, fluffy jasmine rice, and a rainbow of crunchy vegetables, this bowl is tied together by a creamy, sweet, and spicy sriracha mayo.

Ingredients

Scale

The Bowl

  • 7 frozen shrimp, peeled and deveined (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup jasmine rice, cooked
  • 1/4 cup pickled onions
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt and black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon each fresh cilantro and parsley, chopped

The Spicy Mayo Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

Sauté the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Pat the shrimp dry and add to the pan. Season with sea salt and pepper. Sauté for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

Prepare the Rice: Reheat or cook your jasmine rice according to package instructions.

Whisk the Sauce: In a small bowl, combine mayo, sriracha, honey, lemon juice, and sea salt. Mix until smooth.

Assemble: Use the warm jasmine rice as the base. Arrange carrots, cucumbers, pickled onions, and shrimp on top.

Garnish & Drizzle: Sprinkle herbs over the top and drizzle generously with the spicy mayo sauce.

Notes

Shrimp Prep: Drying the shrimp before cooking is crucial for a good sear.

Sauce Consistency: If the sauce is too thick to drizzle, add a teaspoon of lemon juice or water.

Spice Level: Reduce sriracha to 1/2 tablespoon for a milder flavor.

Time-Saver: Microwaveable jasmine rice cuts prep time significantly.
