  • 2 tbsp salted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 oz cream cheese, cut into small chunks
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Glaze: Melt butter and honey in a large skillet over medium-high heat until bubbling.

Sauté: Add frozen corn. Cook for 5–8 mins, stirring occasionally, until tender and coated.

Cream: Drop in cream cheese chunks and season with salt and pepper.

Finish: Cook for 3–5 more mins, stirring gently until the cream cheese melts into a smooth sauce. Serve hot.

Notes

The Cream Cheese Secret: Small chunks melt faster and prevent the pan temperature from dropping, which protects the honey from burning.

Frozen vs. Canned: Frozen corn maintains a better ‘snap.’ If using canned, drain very well to avoid a watery sauce.
