Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
1/3 cup (75 g) melted butter
1/2 cup (100 g) sugar
1 large egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups (185 g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (85 g) mini chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease or line a loaf pan.
Mash bananas until smooth; stir in melted butter.
Add sugar, egg, and vanilla; mix well.
Sprinkle baking soda and salt; add flour. Stir just till combined.
Fold in mini chocolate chips.
Pour batter into pan; top with extra chips if desired.
Bake 50-60 mins until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool before slicing. Serve plain or with butter.
Notes
Use extra-ripe bananas.
Avoid overmixing for tender crumb.
Mini chips distribute evenly.
